Verdict

Madrasa won this last year from just 3lb lower and looks to have been primed for a repeat though he wouldn't want any more rain. BRASINGAMAN ERIC is running well though climbing the weights without winning. He'll stay this trip better than most and it's difficult to see him out of a place so he looks the safest option as Dr Irv is now 10lb higher than his victory over the course and distance in August. Amir Pasha also has a victory over track and trip to his credit but that was a long time ago and he doesn't win very often. Politbureau was beaten a long way when runner-up at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago.
