    Verdict

NEAR KETTERING looked in need of experience on his debut at Windsor and didn't get the hang of the job until much too late. He'll be suited by the longer trip and can take this for Luca Cumani. Pattie produced two good runs on the all-weather before reappearing with a good effort in a Salisbury handicap though that was on ground with some give. Bolder Bob caught the eye on his debut here in October and is a half-brother to two winners while Andrew Balding's newcomer Count Simon is a half-brother to three winners and his stable is still firing them in.
