Verdict

With the newcomers appearing on pedigree to be no great shakes we'll side with ROODEE QUEEN to get the better of Dispol Snapper and Silence Is Bliss. The selection is admittedly taking a bit of time to break her duck, having had five runs so far. Patrick Morris keeps her to the minimum trip today, and his runners have been going better lately. Her profile may have a vulnerable look to it, but the form of her last two runs when making the frame in Scotland is strong in the context of this race and a repeat can see her get off the mark. Dispol Snapper had a couple of quiet runs before getting more involved at Doncaster last time and he handles the ground well, so there are possibilities for him now he is going the right way. Silence Is Bliss was pitched in at selling level on debut and did not disgrace himself at Yarmouth, but that is hardly earth shattering form, even with improvement to come. With Eric Alston's string in such good form perhaps Christine's Gold can emerge as the best debutant, though Roodee Queen is the pick.
