In depth

Verdict

Prejudicial, Jaassey and George's Flyer are the three leading lights in this maiden to open the card and the vote is given to Jaassey. The selection has the benefit of experience and ran encouragingly on his debut when second behind Red Emerald. He came to win his race that day but ran a bit green and with that experience under his belt here he is taken to get his head in front. Prejudicial is a well-bred colt from the Mark Johnston yard and he is entitled to plenty of respect. George's Flyer is another well-bred colt from a top yard, and a watching brief on the market is advised for any signs of confidence for this potentially useful pair. However, our selection sets a fair standard for the rest here and with his yard in good form and experience on his side Jaassey is given the vote.
