Verdict

Angus Newz will not be much of a price here but nonetheless she should be hard to beat; Gallery Girl and Carcinetto are the obvious alternatives. The selection won this race last year and she showed she is in good heart when she chased home Bentong at Brighton last time. She has her favoured ground today and she sets the standard for the rest. Gallery Girl has certainly got the form to get competitive but her yard have had a quiet start to the season and she may be best watched until the stable begin to show a bit more sparkle. Carcinetto finished in mid-division in a handicap last time but that was over 7f and all her best form is over today's trip. Valley of The Moon is better than she showed last time and her yard are in decent nick so she is another to consider, but Angus Newz looks a good bet to win this for the second year in a row.
