Come On Dave has been winning plating races on the Polytrack but this is tougher off a 5lb higher mark back in a handicap. By contrast, ADAM'S ALE ran well for third behind Angus Og in a Class 3 sprint over 6f here last week. Paul Midgely's charge may just edge this lesser contest off his current mark. The stable also run Haajes, who ran quite well at Hamilton on Friday and would be suited by the ground drying out. Boxing Shadows was well beaten at Catterick recently having won at the same track before that but Indian Tinker hasn't won since 2011 and still looks a shade high in the weights. Shillito finally got off the mark when successful at Pontefract last time but a 7lb rise may well anchor him.
