Verdict

Red Pike was narrowly beaten in last year’s renewal but hasn’t won since 2015. Quick Look scored at York last time and a 5lb rise is negated by an apprentice’s allowance but Hee Haw is upped in class after winning at Haydock. The progressive MR WAGYU has won four times this year and was placed at Newmarket recently having won at the same track before that. He should make another bold bid today and John Quinn’s charge gets the nod. Related has a shout on his third at Goodwood in the Stewards’ Cup consolation race when finishing just in front of Dark Shot while Gin In The Inn won off today’s mark over track and trip back in April.
