      Verdict

      PLANETEX looked a nice sprinting prospect when scoring here and at Newcastle last summer but has gone backwards. This represents a big drop in class, however, and he's handed the vote as his young rider rode a winner at Salisbury on Sunday. Shamrocked has run three times over hurdles and was beaten in a Catterick seller last time though he's better on fast ground and would have a chance on his close third over 7f at Doncaster in April. Legal Bond was conceding the latter 5lb when a length behind in that Catterick seller so there's little between them but Dream Vale appears to need some give in the ground.
