Brian Ellison's horses are always respected in handicaps of this nature and BISHOP'S CASTLE can follow up a recent success at York. The five-year-old has relatively few miles on the clock and if genuinely fast ground obtains, he should be able to cope with the handicapper's riposte. Muffin McLeay won this race in 2012 off a 2lb higher mark, and while he has yet to trouble the judge in the interim, he ran his best race for some time when second over course and distance last month. William Jarvis doesn't have many runners at this track so any support for Jodie's Jem is accordingly noted. Calm Attitude has progressed steeply up the handicap with four victories obtaining on a softer surface. Berlusca shaped well at Beverley over a trip short of her best, while Bureau is much better than what she showed at Chester.
