    Verdict

Rio Taffeta, O' Casey and Splitthedifference look the three to concentrate on here and the vote goes to the last-named. A comprehensive winner of a claimer last month, Declan Carroll's gelding will have to give weight away to the whole field but he shapes as if there is more improvement to come. The step up in trip should pose no problems, so assuming that he handles today's softer ground, he looks the one to side with. Amazing Day tends to find at least one too good even in this grade so is opposed again, along with No Point who appeared to go backwards last time out after a promising debut. Caught In Paradise should be watched in the market for support on his debut, however of more interest may be O' Casey. He was only beaten a length last time out and he may appreciate the extra furlong today. A tricky opener, in which Splitthedifference gets the vote.
