In depth

Verdict

Daira Prince just got up to beat Lamloon over an extended mile at Nottingham and should confirm the form as that was his first start since September and the latter is only 1lb better off. Mikmak is only 2lb higher than when scoring over 1m2f here and didn't really take to Chester's tight track on Saturday. Dowayla was racing in better company last summer after scoring at Bath but ran very poorly when sent to Meydan over the winter. BRILLIANT VANGUARD (NAP) completed a hat-trick last summer including two Class 2 handicaps. He's continued to run in better company than this and has dropped to a low enough mark to be handed the vote.
