      Verdict

      A tight race to call and Arfinit is only narrowly preferred over Maunby Raver and Wilheheckaslike as the one to edge the vote of confidence today. However, support for Wares Home should not be dismissed out of hand as the Karl Burke-trained colt takes his chance in this grade of race for the first time here. The son of Indian Rocket will also be sporting a visor for the first time and a bold bid cannot be ruled out. That said, the three-year-old, like most of the field, has been very hard to win with up to press and now has a little to prove; even in a race like this. Therefore, it may be safer to stick with Arfinit as he shaped as if he were running back into form last time and he too will appreciate the ease in grade today. The ground should not be a problem for the College Chapel gelding and he looks to have been found the ideal opening to boost his confidence in taking on this company. Maunby Raver is respected most of the rest but seems to have lost his way a little and may find Arfinit has his measure over this trip.
