In depth

Verdict

Dawoodi made his debut at Redcar and though unable to go the pace in the closing stages today's easier ground will be in his favour. Colonel Frank followed a promising debut in a maiden at Yarmouth that has worked out well with another good effort at Wolverhampton. Miss Montes is related to several winners and, like the very speedily-bred Panther In Pink, is a filly to watch out for though it's another newcomer, BUCCANEERS COVE, who is taken to make a successful start as he's out of a mare who has produced winners with all four of her offspring to race.
