INVINCIBLE ISLE is taken to get the better of Klynch and Dark Lane. The selection wasn't beaten far at Nottingham last time when she finished third behind Enact. The drop back to this trip looked a wise move that day and she is certainly worth another chance over this trip. The fact that she has made the frame in four of her five starts is another plus. Klynch would have claims on the pick of his form but he has only managed to get his head in front once in 16 starts on the turf and as he was well held at Newmarket last time the percentage call would be to take him on. Dark Lane is back up to 6f which is a plus as he won the last time he raced over this trip. He is also back on a fair mark and his slow start was an excuse for a disappointing effort last time at Thirsk, but the draw is a negative for him today. Lucky Numbers has shown his best form on a softer surface so he looks worth taking on. We will stick with Invincible Isle as our choice.
