Verdict

BENKEI has won four times on the Flat but has yet to reach a place over timber though he hasn't performed badly in stronger company than this and could be good enough in a moderate contest. Golden Plan doesn't win often but is a heavy ground specialist while Tidy Zag won easily on soft going at Limerick in March. Pinotage won four times in the UK and has moved to Gordon Elliot while Brave Deed is now with Gavin Cromwell after scoring twice for Jeremy Scott in the UK. Elliott also runs Munstead Pride, who hasn't shown much in maidens since being transferred from Andrew Balding.
