In depth

Verdict

MINELLA RECEPTION hadn't shown a great deal despite attracting support before a much improved run over 2m2f at Limerick where he stayed on strongly to get within a neck of More Madness. That's the best bumper form on view and unless there's something decent among the newcomers he can go one better. Gate Please improved between the flags last year and landed a maiden at Ballingarry in June while Moyne Nineoseven has shown a glimmer of ability and could snatch a place in a race that won't take much winning. The market could prove the best indicator to the remainder.
