Verdict

Richard Hannon had last year's winner but Jayjinski is looking thoroughly exposed. Abaco Ridge finished tailed off on her reappearance at Pontefract but Pushy Lady showed some promise on her debut here last July, though hasn't raced. He's My Cracker is another likely improver but this could rest between newcomers EBONY N IVORY and Harlech. The latter's half-sister won on the all-weather just a few days ago but we prefer Roger Varian's Equiano gelding, who also has plenty of speed in his family being a half-brother to Coventry Stakes third St Barths.
