Verdict

Cape Spirit is overdue a victory but is clearly not one on which to invest the mortgage. Teenager Captain Oats has only won once in 44 career starts while Captain George has only won on Tapeta so far, though was second at Bath in May. DOUBLE DEALITES' career has been stop-start to date but she only found one too good off this mark on Turf at Lingfield last month and a similar effort here would put her in the picture.
