Verdict

Bauer hasn't run since being beaten a head in the 2008 Melbourne Cup and is entitled to need this so this looks best left to LA DE TWO who made an impressive return to action at York in July. He's been restricted to just one outing in each of his three season's to race but clearly has a decent engine even if the wheels are a little wobbly and he's fancied to record his second success of the season. Not many of these have too much to find on the figures and Free Agent merits respect on his defeat of Drunken Sailor at York and Shahwardi on his third at Newmarket but Peligroso has disappointed since making a promising reappearance although his yard is in better form now than it was at the time of his last outing.
