Seussical and Open Water still have a bit of scope but reappear after a break. Resurge isn't badly treated but was well behind NABUCCO at Newmarket in June. The top weight was beaten a length by Viewpoint at Goodwood later but is a couple of pounds better off here and can have his revenge as Richard Hughes' mount has been beaten twice since of today's mark. Mister Impatience is interesting as he's faced some tough tasks this year, though a further drop in distance is a worry for the recent Goodwood second. Noble Gift should be pressing for a place and is preferred to the lightly-raced Charles Camoin of the others.
