Verdict

Gold Hunter had had a run before winning this last year. He is only 2lb higher but a high draw looks a disadvantage for Adrian Wintle’s charge. Coverham has already won three times this year and is weighted to reverse Doncaster running last summer with Pursuing Steed so should go close. Bounty Pursuit was only beaten a nose by Coverham at Kempton in April and is 4lb better off but Letmestopyouthere has a poor strike-rate and is having a first run for a new yard. MADRINHO seems to go well for Poppy Bridgwater and can reverse Lingfield running in March with Red Tycoon. He ran well enough at Haydock last time to offer hope in a race like this.
