        Verdict

        Eventually has shown more than enough to suggest he can win a maiden and he can prove the pick of the Hannon pair. Sheriff Shift may do better when he goes handicapping, while Murtakez is expected to have improved for the experience at Newcastle. Newcomer Parkland, who holds an entry in the Middle Park Stakes, has been done no favours by the draw, but is certainly one to keep an eye on regarding the future. However, preference is for Oasis Dream, who is in the same ownership. This half-brother to French 1000 guineas heroine Zenda, holds entries in the Royal Lodge, Middle Park and the Dewhurst Stakes.
