Verdict

Three-year-olds don't have a great record in this but Yuften could change that as he was second past the post in the Group One Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly last month only to be relegated to fourth by the stewards. William Haggas' colt had finished fifth in the St James's Palace Stakes at Ascot earlier and looks to be on an upward curve. But this is competitive with Master Carpenter successful in this grade at Chantilly before finishing third in a Group Two at Maisons-Lafitte and Rerouted capable on his day. Captain Cat is worth a try at this level while Anjaal was a close-up third in last month's Lennox Stakes at Goodwood. But Richard Hughes rides stablemate PRODUCER and the hint should be taken. The five-year-old is eased in class and could be the one to beat on his fifth in the Queen Anne Stakes in June.
