Verdict

Last year's Arlington Million runner-up Afsare went close to landing a Listed race at Sandown last time but can be a tricky customer and it's by no means certain that the drop to a mile will suit. Jockey bookings would suggest Goodwood third Snowboarder is preferred to older stablemate Fulbright and he should go close while Highland Knight was in good form in the spring and could take some pegging back if allowed an easy lead. But we are going to take a chance on the stamina of PROFESSOR. He has won over 7f and didn't run badly at that trip in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood, despite meeting trouble in-running. He might be able to reverse that form in this smaller field with Boom Or Bust.
