Verdict

Postileo was only third on his handicap debut over this trip at Sandown and races off the same mark. There should be more to come, however, after only three runs. Thai Power has found only one too good in his last three starts but has been raised a further 2lb meaning he is now 13lb higher than when scoring at Kempton. Paul Nicholls does well with his runners on the Flat and Chez Hans has already placed at Chepstow and Newbury this summer. Dono Di Dio was only beaten a length by an improving stayer over track and trip last time so has to enter calculations but Bombero still has stamina to prove. POINT IN TIME has decent claims, despite top weight, having been dropped a further pound since a staying-on fifth over shorter at Newbury – recent rain will aid her cause.
