In depth

Verdict

Alfraamsey and TEAK have similar profiles as useful dual purpose performers who consistently deliver their running. The former enjoys this ground and should be in the mix but he is making his way up the handicap quite rapidly and is taken on off his current mark with Ian Williams' Irish import. The latter has been a beaten favourite the last twice but only succumbed narrowly on both occasions and can go one better here stepped back up in trip from his latest outing. Steely has shown enough to play a prominent role although his head carriage is rather unconvincing whilst Dora's Gift makes most appeal of the younger brigade. She's already shown ability, remains open to improvement and seems ready for the step-up in trip on latest evidence.
