    Verdict

A runner-up over 1m2f at Wolverhampton, Billy Ray steps up in trip but Place Des Vosges was placed over 1m4f at Lingfield last time. Sexy Beast finished in front of Construct at the latter track though neither threatened while the newcomer Flintrock is a brother to a Group 3 winner and a half-brother to other winners. But John Gosden introduces ALMOGHARED, a half-brother to high-class Oaks and King George winner Taghrooda, and he gets the nod to make a winning start.
