Saeed Bin Suroor trained the winner of this two years ago and is mob-handed this time around. Vesuve is better than he showed at Epsom but finished adrift of Tazeez in a Group 3 at Newmarket in October. Emirates Champion hasn't raced since notching a double at Meydan over the winter, but last year's runner-up Prince Siegfried should strip fitter for his sixth at Goodwood in May and can reverse form with runner-up Class Is Class. The former beat Jet Away at Epsom in August and looks the pick of the Godolphin trio today. Black Spirit needs to bounce back from a poor run in the Brigadier Gerard over C&D last time so we'll give another chance to FORTE DEI MARMI. He was also behind Class Is Class at Goodwood but met all kinds of trouble in running having looked ill at ease around Chester's bends on his previous outing. He'll be much happier back at the scene of an impressive handicap win last year and has the ability to succeed at this level.
