Another big field for the finale, and Barney Curley's AGAPANTHUS can make the most of being bottom weight to land the spoils, although dangers abound with Penchesco and Cwm Rhondda completing our shortlist. A winner at Brighton last time out nwhen landing a gamble, market support today should most definitely be noted, but it remains to be seen whether he can repeat that effort, which followed some poor previous form. Cwm Rhondda has three career wins to her name, all at this distance but at Yarmouth. She was runner up in a fillies' event last month on seasonal re-appearance,, and should come on for that. Penchesco has some decent recent form, but may find he's too much weight to carry, off this career near high mark. Alan King's got a couple of interesting entrants, having their first run for him; Wild Desert, previously with Ian Williams and Union Island who's moved from Kevin Ryan's yard, have both been off the track for a long while, and market support should be noted. However, our final punt of the evening is to support Agapanthus.
