Verdict

Last month's C&D third Professeur Emery is gradually getting his act together, while Magic Prospect shaped with promise on his debut at Ascot. But it will be a surprise if MOOSE MORAN doesn't prove too good on his first start over timber. Fifth in last year's Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot and fourth in a Listed race over 1m6f at Newmarket on his latest start on the Flat in September, the Lemon Drop Kid gelding has more scope than Kumbeshwar, whose recent all-weather hat-trick came in lowly company. Not In The Clock was a maiden on the Flat but is the type to do better over hurdles and looks the pick of the remainder.
