Captain Bob will almost certainly try to make all again having been successful over course and distance three weeks ago. But a 6lb higher mark may have just tipped him over the edge as he now has to concede 7lb to the less-exposed MUTAWATHEA. Richard Hannon's colt came up against Kingman on his only previous start over this trip and has found 6f too sharp in subsequent outings, though still managed to win easily at Lingfield in April. Reedcutter's two wins have been over further and he looks in the handicapper's grip now but Royal Seal is back over a more suitable trip after finding 5f too sharp at Yarmouth. Whaleweigh Station and Extremity are others with claims.
