Verdict

Four-year-olds don't have a great recent record in this but the younger generation could dominate this year's renewal. Kalimantan has been in excellent form but is upped in grade today. As De Mee has scope but THEINVAL has the form in the book. He stepped up markedly on his reappearance here when winning by six lengths on soft ground at Kempton 11 days ago and, as that was a conditionals' race, can compete off the same mark today. There is sure to be more to come from Fourth Act and Network Rouge but the handicapper may have got to Jayo Time and Prouts Pub is proving disappointing.
