Tarateeno opened his account at the 13th time of asking when landing a handicap at Wincanton last month and has every chance off a 5lb higher mark today over the same trip but this looks tougher and preference is for DONT TELL THE WIFE, who gets the verdict over Maraafeq. The last mentioned has run well in his last two starts and has an obvious chance of giving Venetia Williams another winner having been raised just 2lbs for his latest effort behind Hello Moscow at Plumpton. Snake Charmer has been running creditably of late but seems a shade high in the weights at present, while Jim Old's Gala Evening is likely to struggle under his penalty for his narrow win at Newbury last time. Isle de Maurice ran better here last time and is another to consider along with the Richard Phillips-trained Giovanna, who lost no caste in defeat at Hereford recently and he has claims on that effort. The vote though goes to Nicky Henderson's Dont Tell The Wife, who is less exposed than his opponents after just five career starts, showed improved form at Musselburgh when stepped up in trip last time on his handicap debut and he is taken to open his account over hurdles today.
