In depth

Verdict

A trappy race with several open to improvement. Ashkelon will have plenty of followers, especially with Fallon on board, while James Fanshaw's Preen, is also capable of improvement over this trip. The blinkers brought about a btter showing from Daimajin at Leicester and if they work a second time, he is another to enter calculations. However, preference is for River Reine, who didn't have the race run to suit last time at Ayr.
