    Verdict

In a competitive event, One Way Ticket gets the call ahead of Bluebok, Blue Aura and Blue Maeve. One Way Ticket races from the same mark as when winning at Bath in July, so you can build the case for his chances. Maybe the drop to today's five furlongs might help Seamus Shindig, who has a race of this nature in him. Bluebok is just two pounds above a winning rating, Polish Emperor is more out than in at present, and Matsunosuke is heading back towards a winning rating. First-time blinkers worked the trick for Blue Aura at Windsor and, even under a four-pounds rise, can go well if they work again. Overall, Who's Winning and Hoh Hoh Hoh are opposable, we feel, and, much as her winning sequence came to an end at Newmarket on soft going last time, Blue Maeve is holding her form well and has to be respected. If reverting to spring form, Spanish Ace would hold good claims, Great Fox is back to last September's winning mark, although his three latest efforts have been disappointing, Heavens Walk has more to do than when winning at Goodwood, but at least he is in good heart, the jury is out on Eversden, and, much as he is a course-and-distance winner, Forest Dane needs a career-best effort if he is to score. It all adds up to a tricky race, with the selection being One Way Ticket.
