In depth

Verdict

Tarotino gets the vote in a cracking race to open the card with Cathedral Rock and Trigger The Light rated as the main dangers. The selection has been aimed at this event and he won well last time when getting the better of Apollo Lady at Fakenham. He will go on the ground and as he has now proved that he stays this trip this progressive 5-year-old from the Nicky Henderson yard has rock solid claims. Trigger The Light won well last time beating Ornais and he will have no problems with this drop in trip. He relishes testing ground and is entitled to plenty of respect. Cathedral Rock will go on the ground and he remains unexposed. He is nicely weighted and with improvement anticipated his trainer believes he has a live each-way chance. Albertas Run is a likeable type but he will need to improve to get competitive and we are happy to stick with Tarotino as our idea of the winner.
