Salient gets the call here ahead of Social Rhythm and Bateleur. Just beaten over a mile at Goodwood last time, Salient, who races off the same mark today, can go well dropped back to seven furlongs. Social Rhythm overcame trouble in running to win at Southwell last time, which was her first run on Turf. For us, a six-pounds rise still sees her competitive. And Bateleur is worth a try at today's trip and, if taking to it, does not look too badly weighted based on the best of his form. With many of the others needing best-yet efforts or looking out of form of late, we return to the selection, which is Salient.
