Verdict

Coastal Bluff, a former Group 1-winning sprinter, has had a catalogue of problems over the years and is not the force of old. Nick Littmoden's charge has a theoretical chance at the weights but has been well below par on all three starts this term. Carlton takes a drop in class after placed efforts in handicaps and won't mind the testing conditions while Sharp Hat is a regular at this level and has also been knocking on the door.
