In depth

Verdict

This has an open look about it but Potters Legend showed he was no back number when fifth at Cheltenham and Musical Slave wasn’t beaten far on his reappearance at Exeter. Dr Kananga took a big step forward when winning easily at Chepstow but has been raised 12lb and Poppa Poutine, though possibly an unlucky loser at Wincanton, is now 4lb higher. LASKALIN, a winner four times in France, might be the one to be on dropping back in distance being a pound lower than when runner-up at Exeter on New Year’s Day as Illegal Model hasn’t really taken to fences.
