      Verdict

Yangtze wasn't given a hard time on his reappearance and was also hampered. He should be winning soon but this looks a tough assignment, which may also be beyond the maiden So Celebre and Artful Mind. Primitivo is penalised for making a winning reappearance at Newbury and this slight drop in trip and much quicker going may make him vulnerable. Midhmaar didn't do much wrong when second over a mile here on his comeback but a 5lb rise looks harsh. COMBATIVE only won a modest maiden at Lingfield on his debut but did so with some authority and the booking of Ryan Moore here suggests he's expected to go close on his first try in a handicap. Northern raider New Caledonia was third over this trip at Newmarket so can't be ignored and he looks a better bet than White Shaheen.
