    Verdict

Masarzain made a decent debut at Newmarket after a tardy start and is certain to have gained benefit from the run but Bag of Diamonds didn't appear to improve much from his initial outing when fourth at Salisbury. With the Haggas yard still firing in the winners Special Season, a 95,000gns yearling, is likely to be supported to make a successful debut as she's out of a speedy mare but it's another newcomer, STARGAZER, who gets the vote as he's by Canford Cliffs and a half-brother to a winner over a mile. Not Touch is another to keep an eye on in an interesting maiden.
