Verdict

Peak Of Perfection is taken to complete a hat-trick here over Levitator, Bienvenue and Hathlen to name but three. Peak Of Perfection has been in terrific form of late, rattling up victories at Lingfield and Chester, making most on both occasions. He has the appearance of a relentless galloper, and now that the penny has dropped, can continue to pay his way. He should make a nice hurdler if that is the route that he eventually takes, but in the meantime does not look badly treated and can dominate again here under Philip Robinson. Levitator has all the hallmarks of a typical Sir Michael Stoute improver and his second to Tungsten Strike at Kempton augurs well for his chance of picking up a staying handicap. Bienvenue should appreciate the extra two furlongs here based on the way that she kept on when headed at Windsor last time, while Hathlen finally opened his account in a very moderate maiden handicap at Goodwood and will find this much tougher. Peak Of Perfection has already proven himself and is very much the one to beat.
