The competitive nature of this contest is demonstrated by the fact that no less than four of the field are on a hat-trick. Of the quartet, Sky Bright and Golden Melody are attractively weighted but both step up to this class for the first time. Trailblazer Zulu Girl, however, is now 18lb higher than when scoring at Brighton in June and may find this a bridge too far. In contrast, STRAWBERRI is likely to be ridden more quietly and Jack Mitchell should be able to swoop late on the Gleneagles filly, who surely has more to offer after just the four runs. Yorkshire Lady, Belief and Professional Widow also have decent claims.
