Torrid Kentavr gets the call in the finale, with Parnassian, Distant Country and Lifted Way just three more with claims. This is not the easiest of getting out stakes as there are plenty more in with a shout in this Flat v Jump boys encounter, including El Chaparral, Milady's Pride and Cherished Number, but Torrid Kentavr, a narrow winner at Newcastle on his reappearance, will come on for the run and should make a bold bid to follow up. Robert Winston gave him a good ride last time, and a season hurdling has obviously not blunted his edge. A small rise is unlikely to stop the northern raider from being involved in the finish, with Frankie Dettori booked to ride. Parnassian ran on well to be nearest at the finish when second over seven furlongs on his return at Kempton and should get a strong ride from Richard Johnson, while Distant Country won well at Lingfield last time and has Ryan Moore in the plate. Tony McCoy, who collected 12 months ago aboard Lifted Way, ride Pat Chamings ' charge again, but does not look to have an outstanding chance of repeating the feat. For the winner we return to Torrid Kentavr.
