      Verdict

      Race Day has only won on the all-weather and that was back in his two-year-old days. He's slowly making his way back after a long absence and wasn't beaten far at Yarmouth. FRANK BRIDGE (NAP) won over a mile here last summer and looked ready to regain the winning thread when just touched off over that trip at Ripon last month. Magical Effect is very consistent but has continued to climb the weights without winning and steps up in grade. The lightly-raced Insurgence is 3-4 on the all-weather though has yet to reach a place on Turf but Parnassian has dropped to a winnable mark and it would be no surprise to see a big run from Amanda Perrett's charge.
