In depth

Verdict

With the Lincoln form looking solid, Colisay is taken to come out on top with Hurricane Floyd, Passing Glance and Sandy Lady looking the main dangers. Alec Stewart's Colisay was a progressive type last term and showed he will be a force to be reckoned with in valuable handicaps this year following a fine fourth behind Pablo. The four-year-old races off the same mark here and has the class to concede weight all round under Frankie Dettori. Hurricane Floyd ran promisingly on his return when third in the Spring Mile and should give another good account off a fair mark while Passing Glance shaped pleasingly in the Spring Cup at Newbury and should be sharper for the outing. Sandy Lady was narrowly denied on her comeback at Windsor but this represents a step up in grade while Tom's Cruising is a lightly raced sort who remains open to further improvement but may just need the outing.
