Verdict

An impossible-looking handicap featuring any number of possibilities. Getaway Trump gained an easy morale-boosting victory at Ayr having run in top-class company previously but he is conceding lumps of weight. Dream Du Grand Val disappointed in the Imperial Cup here last month but is better than that. Birds Of Prey and Harambe are both on a hat-trick and Benny's Bridge knows where the winning post is. Lord Yeats ran well at Aintree and has travelled down from Middleham and the likes of Humble Hero, Petit Palais and Heatstroke remain unexposed. Cause Toujours was favourite on his return to action at Haydock last week and still going well when slipping up between hurdles. Considering his ability on the Flat, SCARLET DRAGON looks feasibly treated on a mark of 132. He has been hard to settle over hurdles but has still produced some smart performances and Richard Johnson is in the saddle today.
