A wide open beginning to proceedings, with marginal preference being for KISS A PRINCE ahead of War and Peace and Annes Rocket. Kiss A Prince has been runner up in his last couple of outings, both of which have been at the similarly right-handed Kempton. Both of those were better races than this, and he's below his last winning mark. Dean Ivory's string are in decent form and Ashley Morgan's having a good season. War And Peace is also back down to below his only winning mark; David Evans' gelding has been pretty consistent this year, winning plenty of place money, but one win in 30 doesn't encourage us. Annes Rocket has a much better overall strike rate, and has been in decent form of late. Runner up here last time out, this is a slight step up in trip from that run when she couldn't quite reach the winner. There are better races to come but something has to win, and our selection is Kiss A Prince.
