Verdict

Several interesting types on show, not least Zohar, who gets the nod over Cashier and the unexposed Public Forum, who must have shown Sir Michael Stoute enough for him to overlook his obvious fragility and keep him in training as a four-year-old. The last named won on heavy ground as a juvenile but was not seen out again until May of last year. The son of Rainbow Quest ran out a ready winner of a handicap at Goodwood, but then suffered a setback and has not been seen since. He holds an Irish St Leger entry and could be anything. The market will give a few clues as to whether he has trained on. Cashier is a promising individual that has done little wrong. He won a valuable race during a short visit to Dubai and has to be respected on that form (Azarole will give a good sighter to it's merits). However, Zohar put in a very respectable effort on his reappearance at Newmarket and, as he has plenty of scope for improvement over this trip, he is included in the betting plans as the best value option.
