In depth

Verdict

South O'The Border gets a confident vote in this decent handicap, Snowed Under and Summer Charm could be fighting for some place money. The Terry Mills trained four-year-old has been improving with racing this season and is now down to a decent mark. He was only beaten a length by Secretary General at Folkestone last time. If the progress continues he will be very hard to beat this afternoon. Summer Charm has been in good form recently, landing a handicap at Redcar before chasing home Captain General at Yarmouth. The ground is a concern but she should still go well off this mark. Snowed Under has shown plenty of promise in two runs this season. He is handicapped to go very close but his best form has been on a much firmer surface. Of the others Double Spectre can improve on his debut run, but we return to South O'The Border as our idea of the winner.
